Tietjen has called Hampton Roads home for over 15 years. Before her career as a Realtor®, Tietjen attended Southeast Missouri State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Masters of Natural Science in Organic Chemistry and Drug Design before caring for the community as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. She is active in her community, coaching and volunteering as well as teaching in the Girls Ministry at Lighthouse in Hayes, Virginia. In addition, Tietjen was a military spouse for over a decade.
